Um dos pontos turísticos mais famosos da região e da Noruega fica ali perto nos fiordes: Preikestolen, ou Pulpit Rock (pedra do púlpito).
A formação é um platô de 25x25m no topo de uma das partes mais altas do Lysefjord, e por ser uma atração famosa, é bem fácil chegar lá!
De Stavanger se pega uma balsa do Porto Fiskepiren em direção a Tao. Pode-se comprar o ticket online ou na própria balsa (em alta temporada é melhor comprar antes e levar duas cópias impressas) e custa 250 coroas norueguesas incluindo um ônibus que sai da balsa em Tao e segue até o estacionamento de Preikestolen, de onde se começa a trilha.
O caminho todo leva aproximadamente 1h30, mas se o horário da balsa e do ônibus não estiverem muito alinhados pode chegar a 2 horas. A trilha leva 4 horas (2 pra subir e 2 pra descer) mas da pra fazer em menos tempo.
É tudo muito organizado e a trilha toda é bem demarcada e tem pontinhos mostrando qual a distância que falta para chegar. Como fomos em Abril, não sabíamos, mas estava CHEIO de neve! Estávamos com roupa preparada pra chuva, mas não tínhamos grampos para a neve, então ficou bem escorregadio em alguns trechos...
Ao longo do caminho passamos por lagos e visuais incríveis das montanhas dos fiordes. Maravilhoso!
Na aproximação da Pulpit Rock existem duas trilhas: uma direto a ela, outra que da a volta no morro final (Hill Trail). Tentamos fazer esta trilha, mas a neve, que está derretendo, começou a pregar peças em nós, e ficou perigoso continuar. Como estávamos andando sobre plantas e arbustos, em alguns pontos a neve cedeu e afundamos em buracos de um metro de altura... Boa forma de quebrar um tornozelo ou coisa assim!
Resolvemos fazer meia volta e seguir direto pra pedra pelo outro caminho, que mais gente usa e estava super tranquilo.
A pedra é linda! Um visual impressionante mesmo! Chegando lá o tempo (que era previsão de chuva o tempo todo) fechou e começou a chover, mas não tirou a beleza impressionante do local!
Ao longo da trilha vimos placas para outras trilhas e até barraca de Camping no meio da montanha... Fica aí a dica pra voltarmos para mais uma expedição!

O primeiro eh um grande bar que tem uma infinidade de cervejas e muitos chopps de todos os lugares do mundo, incluindo eh claro a Escandinavia. Ele fica BEM cheio a noite, entao chegue cedo senao nao da pra entrar.
O segundo eh um cafe que tem 4 tipos de chopp e montes de opcoes em garrafas, alem de jogos de tabuleiro, livros e um ambiente bem tranquilo.
Nenhum deles serve comida.
